On April 20, 2025, the 2024 Annual Meeting and Work Conference of the Shanghai Yanhua Public Welfare Foundation was successfully convened. Members of the Foundation's Board of Directors, Board of Supervisors, and specially invited guests gathered together to review the achievements of the past year and engage in in-depth discussions on the future development direction of public welfare initiatives. The conference featured keynote work reports by Ms. Yang Jiru, Chairperson of the Shanghai Yanhua Public Welfare Foundation, and Professor Tao Yifeng from Huashan Hospital, Fudan University.

At the beginning of the meeting, Chairperson Yang Jiru presented the *Foundation's 2024 Annual Work Report* to the attending directors, supervisors, and guests. The report provided a comprehensive and detailed overview of the Foundation's work in 2024, covering multiple dimensions including annual key tasks, project summaries, progress in publicity efforts, financial management status, and future work plans. The year 2024 was crucial for the Foundation's standardized development. All staff systematically reviewed and summarized the work of the past three years, ultimately successfully passing the 3A-level evaluation. Concurrently, on the path of supporting pediatric liver transplantation, Yanhua Public Welfare has remained steadfast, continuously providing support and assistance to young patients and their families.

Chairperson Yang Jiru reviewed the Foundation's overall work in 2024.

 

Professor Tao Yifeng, Deputy Director of the Liver Transplant Center at Huashan Hospital, Fudan University, drawing on his solid professional expertise and extensive clinical experience, delivered an annual summary on pediatric liver transplant surgeries at Huashan Hospital. In his report, Professor Tao highlighted groundbreaking cases, such as the successful surgery performed on the youngest and most complex pediatric liver transplant patient. He also shared advancements in the application of new technologies in pediatric liver transplantation and emphasized that the continuous optimization of the multidisciplinary collaboration model has significantly enhanced surgical safety and the quality of patient recovery.

Subsequently, Professor Wang Zhengxin, Vice Chairperson of the Shanghai Yanhua Public Welfare Foundation and Director of the Liver Transplant Center at Huashan Hospital, Fudan University, presided over and delivered opening remarks for the roundtable discussion session. During this segment, directors, supervisors, and invited guests engaged in lively discussions centered on the future development direction of the Foundation's public welfare projects. Participants freely expressed their views, actively shared experiences and insights, pooled collective wisdom, integrated resources from various parties, and jointly offered suggestions for the Foundation to carry out its work more substantively and effectively.

Mr. Ye Ke, Mr. Chen Yubing, and Mr. Rao Kangda, Vice Chairpersons of the Shanghai Yanhua Public Welfare Foundation, have consistently guided the Foundation's development with forward-looking strategic vision. The three Vice Chairpersons expressed their aspiration to build a more efficient and professional public welfare platform, further expanding the breadth and depth of public welfare projects. Beyond the existing liver transplant assistance programs, they also aim to extend their focus to other medical aid fields, building a bridge connecting compassion with need, and jointly fostering a society filled with hope and warmth.

Ms. Tang Junqiao and Ms. Wang Yujiao, Directors of the Shanghai Yanhua Public Welfare Foundation, along with Ms. Sun Zhihua, Supervisor of the Foundation, actively contributed ideas regarding the Foundation's future development direction. They shared profound reflections on philanthropic work, explored deeper integration with fields such as education and mental health, and emphasized a comprehensive focus on the diverse needs of young patients and their families during the recovery process. They hope that through these sustained efforts, the compassion of Yanhua Public Welfare will benefit more people.

Four guestsProfessor Xie Xinbao, Director of the Hepatology Department at the Children's Hospital of Fudan University; Professor Liu Jiangbin, Deputy Director of Shanghai Children's Hospital; Ms. Li Juan, Head Nurse of Huashan Hospital, Fudan University; and Mr. Cheng Chuang, General Manager of Shanghai Lijin Intellectual Property Agency Co., Ltd.offered numerous valuable suggestions for the development of the Foundation and its pediatric liver transplant charity assistance program from the perspectives of different medical specialties and long-term development. This interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration infused the Foundation with new energy and innovative ideas.

As the conference drew to a close, Mr. Ye Ke, Vice Chairperson of the Shanghai Yanhua Public Welfare Foundation and Chairman of Shanghai Stonehill Technology Co., Ltd., delivered concluding remarks. On behalf of the Foundation, he expressed sincere gratitude to all directors and supervisors for their long-term active participation and strong support in the Foundation's development. Mr. Ye mentioned that as a technology company, Stonehill Technology has always adhered to the principle of giving back to society. He expressed hope that by supporting the Foundation's public welfare endeavors, more tangible assistance can be provided to families in need, which also represents a significant embodiment of the company's social responsibility.

Building on the present to plan for development, and looking ahead to embark on a new journey. The Shanghai Yanhua Public Welfare Foundation will continue to explore new areas of public welfare assistance, committed to carrying out more diverse internet-based public welfare projects, medical aid programs, and others. We hope that by supporting the development of the medical cause, expanding the types of public welfare projects, actively participating in various charitable activities, widely disseminating the spirit of public welfare, and uniting more social forces, we can ignite hope for those in difficult situations and ensure the warmth of public welfare reaches every corner in need.
